MP Fibrous Casings have the same characteristics of uniformity and mechanical strength as Fibrous Casings, but are coated externally, with a plastic film, a material which does not allow water and oxygen to go through the casing. These casings are recommended for the manufacture of meat products when it is important to keep the flavor in, increase yields and avoid oxidation. MP Fibrous Casings are ideal for water and steam cooked applications such as liver sausage, poultry rolls and hams. The outside coating of the casing offers the following advantages:
