ZEPHYR® Casing Europe

ZEPHYR is the Viskase trademark for very high stretch, shiny casings. ZEPHYR Casings are available in a wide range of sizes for the manufacture of products featuring diameters from 85 mm to 245 mm. They are extremely popular, especially in Italy, for the manufacture of mortadella.

Two types of ZEPHYR Casing are offered to meet the requirements of different products:
• Normal high stretch quality ZEPHYR Casings for oval products and
• « P » quality casings with reduced stretch for the manufacture of cylindrical mortadellas.

Availability

ZEPHYR Casing can be supplied in the following presentations:
• Clear,
• Smoke colour,
• 20 meter bundles,
• Cut pieces, pre-tied,
• Cut pieces, not pre-tied,
• They are mainly supplied in printed, pre-tied, cut pieces.
