Exceptional barrier and shrink properties make VISFLEX Casings ideal for water, steam or smokehouse processing. Incorporating a multilayer structure of nylon and polyolefin resins, VISFLEX Casings offer excellent moisture barrier properties, virtually eliminating water migration through the film. The result is maximized product yield during cooking and prevention of weight loss during storage. High oxygen barrier properties extend the shelf lif of products while reducing packaging costs by eliminating the need for a barrier bag. Using state-of-the-art flat width control system VISFLEX Casings are extruded to provide exceptional diameter uniformity at stuffing. Consistent product dimensions are key to optimum productivity and minimum product give-away. They offer superb adhesion and shrink properties, working together to control purge during processing and assure a wrinkle-free final product without having to overstuff the casing.
